Access Codes give you ultimate control over your online schedule and volunteers. Access Codes can be assigned to any project, any shift, even across multiple projects. They can be for one shift on one date, or for indefinite use. They can be used with public shifts (first come first served up to max number) or private shifts (reserved number of slots).
Private Calendars — provides you a way to give out a specific calendar link or code so that when used, will *only* show the desired project(s) and dates. This is typically used when larger organizations or sponsors are wanting their members/employees to schedule themselves vs. creating an online group. Protects private calendars from the general public being able to sign up.
Private or Public — Each project can be both available to the public, and use access codes. This is helpful when you have multiple projects, and want to provide a link to an organization/group to ensure they all sign up on their specific project(s) and dates. Eliminates volunteers in a group from signing up on the incorrect projects or shifts.
Group Drafting You can automatically add any volunteer who uses an access code to a specific group. This makes it much easier to create & populate a volunteer group when it's members are not known in the beginning. This is also helpful to use since in reports, the group will appear together in the group vs. as random individuals.
Lost your Access Code? No problem, they are able to self-service themselves and see a list of all Access Codes by Group/Organization and Primary Contact's name. If they find their group, then they can request access via the system, which will email their request, and with one click the primary contact can approve their request and automatically send the volunteer the Access Code and direct link.
